In all seriousness, a denial. Don't get your hopes up.

I've gone through applying, being denied, and then filing an appeal, which is where I am currently in the process for SSDI.

Our situation was clear-cut, and my husband was granted SSDI on the first try which seemed almost immediate. I showed how my husband's disability stopped him from holding down a steady job, and that was enough.

With a 100% T&P rating from the VA, I'm determined to win my SSDI claim the first time, so I'm looking to hire a lawyer.

The guidelines for SSDI are less transparent than those the VA uses for their compensation.
