question Filing for SSDI with a primary focus on mental health or all disabilities?

I heard that you should only claim your main disability, not all of them (I'm a 100% disabled vet), and I'm claiming SSDI because of mental health. What papers do I need to give them?

I'm really not sure what to ask for and think maybe I should just get a lawyer from the start.

My case manager said to send in everything because it all matters. I suggest you list all your disabilities.

My advice would be to submit all evidence related to each of your disabilities! A lawyer would likely recommend the same approach.
