question How much for 100% with a spouse, three kids, and a parent?

I wanted to see what the pay would look like if I were 100% P&T, so I looked at the pay chart but didn't see this, so I thought I'd ask. Can someone tell me how much money you get if you have a 100% rating with a husband, three kids, and one parent?

question What are the best states to live in for a 100% disabled veteran?

I'm not in a rush, but I'd like to know which states are the best for someone with a 100% DAV rating to move to. I'm from Hawaii and still live here, but the benefits for veterans like us aren't great. I'm thinking about moving to a different state to settle down in a few years. Thanks for any...

question Could my 100% PTSD rating be at risk after discussing improvements with a VA doctor?

At my mental health appointment yesterday to get more of my meds, the VA doctor started asking a lot of questions about my PTSD, like if I hear voices, feel like hurting myself, or have bad dreams. I'm worried that because I'm doing better with the medicine, the VA might think about lowering my...

question Filing for SSDI with a primary focus on mental health or all disabilities?

I heard that you should only claim your main disability, not all of them (I'm a 100% disabled vet), and I'm claiming SSDI because of mental health. What papers do I need to give them? I'm really not sure what to ask for and think maybe I should just get a lawyer from the start. Thanks for helping.

question Are commissioned officers eligible for 100% VA benefits like enlisted peers?

Several enlisted peers, including myself, got a 100% VA rating after service or retirement from service. Would a commissioned officer, leaving the service due to mental health or other issues, be eligible for the same 100% VA benefits as us enlisted? Asking for an old friend.

question Are both 100% disability and income under 40k required for a property tax break in Washington?

I want to make sure I've got this right. In Washington state, do you need to both be 100% disabled and make under 40k a year to get a break on property taxes? Or is being 100% disabled enough to qualify?
