Aside from the VA, what additional healthcare coverage do you all have? Considering the limitations in accessing immediate care at any hospital or clinic, it seems wise to have backup health insurance.
However, I'm uncertain. Any suggestions?
I got 2 checks today from the Department of Treasury, adding up to just over $30.00, and they mentioned the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. Could these be for travel claims I put in more than 15 months ago?
Since the VA rated both of us as 100% disabled from service, we're curious if our son can combine our Chapter 35 educational benefits for his studies to be used at the same time. Is this possible?
SSI/SSDI stuff: They just go off your VA medical records, or do they make you do another check-up? And do they count the benefits you already get when they're figuring out if you qualify for SSI/SSDI?
So I've just received my 100% t&p after being on TDIU for some years. In my decision letter, it was written, "You are considered to be totally and permanently disabled due solely to your service-connected disabilities: YES". Does this mean I'm still restricted from working beyond the TDIU...
