Why does the VA want you to do lab tests with a C&P exam if you're asking for a higher rating?

How do these tests show your condition is getting worse?

The need for these tests probably depends on what disability you mentioned in your claim.

They do this to make sure your health issue meets the formula in the 38 CFR.

If they went through my records, they'd have what they need since I'm trying to get a higher rating. It's not clear if they checked my records before setting up another C&P exam. It's pretty annoying.

They may be asking for current labs to have the most recent information for their decision.
