When the video call gets rolling, there's no saying how it'll turn out. Best move is to humbly ask up front if you can play around with the video settings and volume settings specifically for that meeting so that they're not off. Additionally, adjust your seating and posture so that you're put more at ease talking to the C&P examiner.
