Has anyone successfully received SSDI / SSI benefits for conditions such as carpal tunnel or plantar fasciitis? I'm also dealing with neck and back problems that affect my sleep, leading to frequent numbness in my hands. Would it be smart to apply?

Your sleep troubles don't bother them one bit... it's all about whether you can still work. They believe you can still greet folks at Walmart with a numb hand. Their vocational expert has got a list of jobs they believe that you can handle, no matter your health issues.
