Many partners write statements or buddy letters to detail the extent of their significant other's disabilities, all in the hopes of getting a higher rating. Are you after an example where someone wrote about a specific disability for an increase, or just an overall example? Or are you conducting some sort of survey on the matter?
Dually account here (wife and husband). We didn't directly work together, for obvious reasons, but from previous assignments, we were both aware of what each other went through. Our shared experiences were an asset when drafting lay statements for one another. Going through comparable events allowed us to express the complete context in a way that could resonate more effectively with a VA rater.
