When you use Chapter 35 for a dependent kid, you have to drop them from your dependent pay... But what's the deal with using it for a spouse?

Rule of thumb: Spouses stay, kids go away.

It isn't required to drop a spouse using their Chapter 35 from your award, only the dependent children.

Can't pretend losing that dependent pay doesn't sting, cause I know I'll end up footing their bills one way or another, but thanks for the insights.
