question Are VA co-pays required for non-service connected issues with a 100 P&T rating?

If you've got that 100 P&T, does the VA still ask for a co-pay for things that don't tie back to your time in service service? Would it make sense to try and get those other disabilities on your award as service-connected for medical treatment?

When you're 100% T&P, there's no copay required.

When you are rated 50% or more, all your medical care is covered without copays.
