The range.
I was at the range for about 10 months as a marksmanship coach. Coaching let me get lots of chances to shoot, and it even got me a place in a competition match using iron sights from the 700 yard line.
There's just something about 50 or so Marines shooting their rifles or pistols off all at the same time every few seconds: It's called hearing loss and tinnitus (non-service connected).
