For dependents of 100% T&P veterans, getting into CHAMPVA is the first step to getting low-cost dental services through the VA Dental Insurance Program (VADIP). VADIP is affordable dental coverage that works alongside private insurers, filling in for the CHAMPVA gap in care.
To take advantage of VADIP, ensure you're signed up with CHAMPVA, then pick a dental plan that suits you best.
Regarding eye care and vision, CHAMPVA covers eye tests and might cover part, or all of your glasses cost, but they have particular criteria for that.
