Hello, I have a 100% P&T rating from the VA, and my husband holds the same rating. We're curious about DIC eligibility in the event of either of our passing. Where could we look for detailed information regarding this?

Yep, you're both eligible for DIC. Plus, you can each claim the other as dependents.

If a veteran who has been rated as 100% P&T for 10 years passes away for any cause or if the death is linked to a service-connected disability, the spouse can receive Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC). This benefit extends to both of you as veterans holding a 100% P&T status.
