intro I've got woodhands

I was a PO2/BU2 in the Navy which led to my passion of woodwork.

Working on wood stuff really showed me what I love doing, and now it's what I do to keep busy.

Because of my health issues, I stick to smaller things I can handle, like making tables or and nightstands. But I make them in a way that's kinda like Ikea stuff, so they're easy to move around until it's fully assembled. Then, it might get too heavy to manage by just one person.

Finished up a shelf recently. Took one measure, made a single cut, instead of two measures and one cut, and things didn't go as expected. Ended up having to redo it since I messed up a lot of wood, which ate up more time and money.

Certainly wasn't a smooth experience. Frustrating to say the least.

But hey, to each their own! Wishing you joy in whatever you do.
