I'm dealing with sleep apnea. How does one go about establishing a connection between this condition and their service after being discharged?

Don't buy into the tales that suggest sleep apnea will automatically secure you a 50% or 100% rating. That's misleading. I suffer from sleep apnea linked to my military service, yet I received a 0% rating, which suits me fine. The significant part is recognizing its service connection, not pursuing a 100% rating.
