question Can a spouse retain medical benefits after divorce from a 100% rated vet?

Is it for real that a spouse can still get medical benefits after they divorce if they were married for more than 20 years? The vet's rated 100% but only did a 4-year contract in the military and weren't medically discharged. Thanks for clearing this up for me!

This is only applicable if the military member is retired with 20 years of active duty. However, for a 4-year service... it's not possible. The only way to retain health insurance insurance would be if there were a court order for one spouse to provide insurance to the other, whether temporary or permanent.
