question Guidance needed for FASFA loan forgiveness post-100% p&t rating

I received a 100% P&T rating in November. Typically, how much time does it take for FAFSA to cancel out student loans? I was under the belief that it happens automatically. If I'm wrong, could someone kindly guide me on what actions I should initiate to begin this procedure? Much appreciated in advance.
