For sure, we'd pick being healthy over being 100% PT disability. We did our 20 already, so we've got that safety net. It'd be great to move around like we did in our 20s and not have to worry about the struggle to get out of bed with all those aches and pains the next day.

I signed up knowing full well the risks involved, from getting hurt to facing even graver dangers.

Can't erase the injuries I've sustained, so I'm holding on to my VA benefits. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I wouldn't hesitate, as those experiences have made me who I am today.

I'd choose to get my health back right away. But I'd probably need some time to adjust so I'm not depending so much on VA benefits.
