question Can a service-connected disability become non-service connected?

Can anyone tell me if a disability that's service-connected can later be considered non-service connected?

When 10 years have passed, the VA can only reduce the rating to the minimum disability rating maintained during that time, but they cannot sever the service connection unless evidence of fraud exists.

So, can the service connection be removed? Yes, it can be, but this is only if it's under 10 years, according to 38 CFR 3.957. The exception to this is if there's fraud involved.
