general Is it possible to have 27 10% VA ratings for 100%?

I heard you need 27 ratings at 10% to get to 100%. Can that really happen? Having 27 ratings seems like a lot, but then again, there are so many disabilities you can be rated for.

Just something that would amaze me if there's a veteran out there with 27 disabilities rated at 10% each...

I tried putting in 10% ratings 27 times into a disability calculator, and it's true. You end up at 95%, which gets rounded up to 100%.

The VA math checks, but the probability of a veteran having 27 separate 10% ratings sounds very low.

It would be crazy to have 27 different 10% ratings. Think about having to go to all those routine future exams (even if half were static)!
