    For sure, we'd pick being healthy over being 100% PT disability. We did our 20 already, so we've got that safety net. It'd be great to move around like we did in our 20s and not have to worry about the struggle to get out of bed with all those aches and pains the next day.

    We still use Tricare. Some veterans also have Medicare along with Tricare for Life, and some others have insurance from their jobs.

    We moved from USAA to Navy Federal and so far, we're pretty happy. They're not amazing, but they're definitely better than USAA.

    My husband's friend witnessed two of his injuries and provided two different statements for each event. He was direct and made the accounts as brief as possible, leaving out any unnecessary details.
